Job opening: Electrical Engineer – Department of Electrical Studies

KPMG is sourcing for their client, a leading company in the Energy Sector, specializing in design and development, with a strong presence in the Greek market is seeking a result-oriented and versatile, Electrical Engineer in the department of electrical studies.

Main Responsibilities:
• Preparation of electrical studies for LV/MV (substations / switchboards), grounding studies and lightning protection studies, and various electrical calculations for equipment (cable sizing, load flows, short circuits, etc.), using specialized software, primarily used in Refineries, Petrochemical, Power Generation installations, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Preparation of Weak Current Networks studies (telecommunication networks, public address systems, intercommunication networks).
• Drafting technical specifications for LV/MV electrical equipment (transformers, generators, motors, switchboards, lighting fixtures, cables, and other industrial
equipment) in collaboration with engineers from other departments.
• Technical evaluation of offers for the above equipment.
• Orders’ follow up (approval of Vendors’ technical documentation).
• Provision of consulting services to company clients regarding projects and equipment within the Department’s scope.
• Drafting / updating technical details and standards.
• Participation in on-site surveys and measurements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• University Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) by the application submission deadline or upon commencement of employment.
• Proficient in written and spoken English (CAE or equivalent).

Desired Qualifications:
• Professional experience in Electrical Engineering studies in Low and Medium
Voltage networks will be considered as an asset.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Advanced computer skills
• Knowledge of AUTOCAD, 3D design and ETAP software.
