Digital & Content Coordinator στην ActionAid

As a Digital & Content Coordinator you will play a key role in shaping and delivering ActionAid Hellas’ digital and content strategy, crafting content that inspires action & engagement, and brings our mission to life online.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, adapt, and publish creative content (text, photo, video) across ActionAid Hellas’ digital platforms (website, social media, newsletter etc.).
• Manage and engage online communities across social media platforms, fostering meaningful interaction and strengthening audience relationships.
• Serve as the main point of contact with the digital agency, ensuring smooth coordination, clear communication, and effective campaign delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and departments to collect stories, information, and visuals for content creation.
• Plan and manage social media calendars, ensuring alignment with the organization’s priorities and tone of voice.
• Maintain and handle AAH website.
• Lead live coverage of key events, campaigns, and field activities on social media when needed.
• Contribute to the development of content strategies for storytelling, awareness, and supporter engagement.
• Overview the design and implementation of digital campaigns that promote ActionAid’s mission and impact.
• Responsible for monitoring and analyzing digital performance metrics in cooperation with agencies and other teams.
• Support the production of multimedia materials (videos, infographics, visuals) in collaboration with external vendors when needed.
• Stay up to date with digital trends, tools, and best practices in the communication landscape (and NGOs in particular).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, (Digital) Marketing, or related field.
• 2 – 4 years of professional experience in digital communications or content creation (experience in NGOs or mission-driven organizations is an asset).
• Proven experience managing social media channels and producing engaging content.
• Excellent writing and editing skills in both English and Greek.
• Strong understanding of digital trends, analytics, and audience engagement.
• Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress), basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express), and analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics).
